August is sliding past me, and full of stresses.

I got myself a second PT job, also doing demos and product sampling. This one is a bit different in that I have to pick my own jobs. Haven’t seen the process yet because I am waiting to receive my welcome kit. I don’t know which stores they do, but I’ll find all that out next week.

They claim the average pay is $85 for 5 hours. But you have to schlep a table, all your supplies (event kit), and cooking accessories into the store for each demo.

For other jobs contracted to certain stores, your cart is stored onsite and the event kits are also shipped to the store. Oh well *sigh.l

I also interviewed for a demo job at Costco, though it was not my best interview

Meanwhile, my current demo job for ASM has dwindled down to one demo last week. That’s 6 hours! For the whole week! Not good and that is why I began pushing for a third job.

I start my new job tomorrow. Part time. 18 hours a week which translates into three days’ work between Thursday and Sunday. I hope I can get that every week as it is my minimum to pay my bills each month. If I am lucky, I’ll snag another part-timer.

Had to sell yet another lens to make August bill payments, which I hope to make next week.

So, what am I doing?

Walk into your nearest WalMart Superstore and go look for the food demonstrators with their carts. That is me, only in Albuquerque, LOL.
